Thriving Is Better When We Do It Together

At North Coast Credit Union, helping you thrive isn’t just about our members. It’s about our whole community. Through North Coast Cares, we sponsor local events and partner with organizations that make Whatcom and Skagit stronger. Our employees also receive quarterly paid volunteer hours to give back, and through the North Coast Cares Fund, each staff member can direct a $250 donation to a local nonprofit of their choice on their work anniversary.

Share An Opportunity

If your nonprofit or community group could benefit from a financial donation or sponsorship, please fill out this form to tell us more about your organization and how we can help. We’ll reach out if your request aligns with our North Coast Cares priorities.

Eligibility: Organizations must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold tax-exempt status under 501(c)(3) or 170(b)(1), or be another government entity or tribe.

  • Serve communities within Whatcom or Skagit counties.

Ineligible Requests: We are unable to award funds to certain sub-categories, including (but not limited to):

  • Individuals

  • Pledges

  • Sectarian or religious purposes

  • Political lobbying or campaigns

Additionally, NCCU typically does not award funds to organizations that have already received funding during the current calendar year.

We Look for Opportunities That:

  • Make a real difference for people in the places we call home

  • Open doors and create opportunities for more folks in our community

  • Invite our staff and members to get involved too

  • Build financial wellness and overall well-being

  • Create lasting impact, not just a one-time boost
