We’ve been alerted to fraudulent text messages and phone calls impersonating North Coast’s Fraud Department inquiring about a scheduled transfer and then requesting personal and account information. Please refrain from responding to such requests. If you receive suspicious messages or have any inquiries contact us directly at 800-696-8830. Your vigilance dealing with these scammers is crucial in safeguarding your personal information.
Beware of COVID-19 Related Scams
We should all be alert for scammers using the COVID-19 outbreak to take advantage of people desperate to find a cure, offering free products or offering hard-to-find products at highly inflated prices.
You cannot buy a COVID-19 “cure”. This coronavirus is new. There is no known cure at this time.
Scammers offering “free” or hard to find products will ask for your personal information before they can mail your packages. When someone starts asking for this information delete the email, hang up the phone and stop all contact.
Be alert to email and text messages that start with generic greetings (“Hello Sir/Madame”). Ignore them.
If you have a concern about a possible scam call our Member Service Contact Center at 800-696-8830.
